Who is Luzía

I’m Luzía, a graphic designer and art director based in Mallorca. I work across visual identity, web design and editorial, with brands and people whose way of doing things I connect with.

After several years in studios, brands and agencies, I started working independently. I like to understand a project through the people behind it: what they care about, what they need to explain and where they want to go. From there, I develop its visual language across websites, identities and printed pieces, working with clients in Spain and internationally.

Brand Identity

Visual identities developed through typography, colour and imagery. I work on both the graphic language and its applications, considering how it will live across digital platforms, packaging and printed pieces.

Web Design

Websites shaped around the content and character of each project. I work on structure, navigation and visual design, collaborating closely with developers to carry the idea through to the finished website.

Editorial design, packaging and printed matter. I work with format, paper and finishes alongside the graphic design, staying close to production and collaborating with local printers in Mallorca.

Art direction and graphic design for social media. I work on image selection, layouts and the relationship between posts, developing a visual direction that gives the content continuity.

Some projects call for a wider team. I work with a trusted network of photographers, filmmakers, writers and stylists, bringing together the people each project needs.
